In the dense forests of the cold north,
an unwary traveler my find themselves stuck in the peat bogs underfoot.
A misplaced step may result in a fate most terrible:
swallowed whole by the bog,
to become another victim of the humanoid sphagnum spirit,
a magical being whispered of in the darkest mountain tales,
the dismal wetland wizard known only as the Bogtreader.
